Crab coming! Run! Run!

My aunt called us for dinner on Father's Day to this famous restaurant in PJ... Green view... So thought it was quiet a distance a way from home, and I really am not in favour of going out on Sunday nights, we still went as we had already said no to so many of her dinner invitations.

So after quite a long journey, for me, we arrived at the restaurant only to realise that they had somehow not saved the reservations and we had to hang around a bit before we got seated. True to malaysian style celebration, the restaurant was packed and the little one does not like crowded noisy places, so I just kept my fingers crossed that she would hold it in and just cling on to me instead of crying.

But alas, I guess she really couldn't hold it in and she did cry but after so long of trying her best to
Put up a strong front. Well done darling! So once she starts crying the. We have to console anda distract her and sometimes it involves showing her more interesting things. In this case she remembered that she had seen some fishes I the aquarium below so she wanted to go down and see the fish again. As the food would definitely take a while to come, judging from the number of people there, I took her down. Much to her delight we found crabs instead in the he basket right by the sided corridor. I got excited showing her the crabs and took this opportunity to teach her 'crab'... But suddenly one of the crabs decided to move and tit definitely started my little one who retaliated by whispering to me urgently ..crab coming..run! Run!

Haha....I really couldn't contain my laughter..so off we ran to the other end of the restaurant and got ourselves immersed in the warm glow of the red lanterns...

Oh well, then we headed back to the table and guess what? My dear baby actually sat through dinner from the beginning till the end on her high chair, but the credit goes to my futuresister in.law, a really nice woman whom I'm glad is gonna be family soon :) little baby took an instant liking towards her and she had undivided attention from her latest aunty, both of them enjoyed their new friendship and I I for once had the joy of eating my dinner uninterrupted...yummy :)

Well, I could get used to more outing if only the little one can sit like she did today through meals.

Cheers!

God's Mysterious Ways....

I believe in God, and thus he has showed me His miracles.... one that clearly left a very strong impression on me happened a few hours before my wedding... having dated the prince of my life for ages, i waas finally gonna marry him n be his forever n ever n he be mine like forever too....

Never one to skip meals, i could not say no to the buffet breakfast the hotel was serving on mywedding day.. so out went the bride of her suite, and sniffed her way to the chambers wher ethe only perfume invading the air was the smell of fresshmy baked bread and scones, and an array of million other stuff one can possibly want to eat for breakfast.

Then as i was enjoying the morsels entering my mouth, my ears picked up the music that was playing, and that involuntary action nearly caused another involuntary action i.e. my food nearly dropped out of my mouth. The music was the music that i have only ever heard in my prince's car, and never anywhere else... especially not in a public place like in the food chambers and all... perhaps the only place possible where i might hear this kind of music would be in private posh clubs.... it was the theme song from the godfather and tears sta rted welling up at the brink of my eyelids.. and i had to control them to ensure that no spilage happened that day coz of a bride may not cry on her wedding day....

If god has ever shown me a sign, then this is def one of them.. telling me that the man i was about to marry was right.. it was god's was of putting it in his own mysterious way of what the future holds for me....

And to put the record straight.. ive never heard the song again in public other than for the premieres of the movie..duh.... but the incident really struck a chord in my heart...

here I am finally..!

At last I've got down to signing up for very own blog spot, something I had been wanting to do for quite a while now. Now that i'm here i can't think of what to blog about.. *sigh* i really hate this feeling where i do not have anything in particular to write bout, yet the minute i click the turn off button of the PC.. all thought will come rushing in but by then il be too lazy to actually turn the PC on again and even when i di turn it on again, I'd probably be not in the mood for blogging anymore.
But u see, it's very possible to just type out whatever that u r thinking, or better still put in in black and white all the imaginary conversation one has with one's self or also with others. Well, u must be thinking that i must be nuts to have imaginary conversations not only with myself but with other people but its very satisfying in its own way. I mean, u wanna say something to the other person, and the other person might or might not be within conversation space, so wat do u do? Do u just forget it, or do u actually ask/talk to the person in ur mind, and if u do this then obviously you know the person well enuf to actually think of what their response might be...see where im getting to.. in the end u'l end up like me: not knowing whether u really had the conversation or was the conversation just carried out in ur mind and the other party has no inclination of any sort to waht might have happened that has changed the memory u have of them.
